Francis Avenue going wild

21 May 2024
Francis Avenue

In collaboration with local residents including Danielle Durant, Batchwood Councillor Sinéad Howland has made some serious progress with the rewilding of the open space in Francis Avenue!

Having applied for permission for responsibility of the space, organising liability insurance, surveying the land as funded by your Lib Dem councillor's ward budget, setting up an organisation and bank account, and successfully applying for a Licence to Cultivate, the project can go ahead.

It's now time to get serious on the gardening front.

If you would like to be involved, please get in touch with newgreenswildgarden@gmail.com

The garden is between 4 and 6 Francis Avenue.

Come and meet the team to find out what they have planned:
