Chris Brazier and his wife Hilary have lived in Colney Heath for 40 years, where they raised three sons who all went to local schools. Chris served as a parish councillor for 20 years as well as being a district councillor. He has also served as School Governor at CHJMI.
Chris has worked with the parents of CHJMI to get secondary places in St Albans schools rather than Hatfield. He has also supported residents in Colney Heath Ward through the planning process, speaking out against over-development in Tyttenhanger, Smallford, Colney Heath and Highfield. He is committed to protecting the green belt and securing improvements to the infrastructure in the Ward: for example, doctor‘s surgery, shops, play areas and transport.

John Hale and his family have lived in Marshalswick for over 20 years. He has been a Sandridge Parish Councillor since 2007. Since 2017 he has been the county councillor for the area. When not acting as a councillor, John is active in the St Albans Quieter Skies campaign and has a keen interest in environmental issues. For relaxation he enjoys gardening in an organic manner.
