He was first elected to the constituency in 2005 with a very narrow majority of only 257 votes; and is a dedicated local member of parliament with a strong sense of community - one of the pre-requisites for an environmentally oriented parliamentarian.
Felix Dodds - Global Green Change Catalyst Felix Dodds is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Mid-Derbyshire in the 2019 General Election and has been President of Amber Valley Liberal Democrats since 2013, with long links to the county. There has been a huge surge of renewable energy provision which was started on his watch, bringing the cost of renewable energy tumbling down over the years since then. Typical of the Tories the Department was abolished in 2016 and merged into Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. Since then there has been much backsliding from the climate change imperative!
