Bromley Liberal Democrats are calling on the Chancellor to protect education spending, as shocking new figures show that schools in Bromley face cuts in their spending power of £6.2 million next year.

Is Knife Crime becoming normalised on our streets?

Lib Dem Councillor Graeme Casey witnessed a disturbing instance of knife culture in Orpington Walnuts Shopping Centre on Saturday 5th November. No one was injured, and Cllr Casey immediately called the Police to report it but it underlined just how normal it has become to see people carrying knives.

Biggin Hill Airport - Noise Action Plan

The public gallery at Bromley Council was full on Tuesday evening (18th October) to discuss progress on the Biggin Hill Airport Noise Action Plan. The Lib Dems used this opportunity to reiterate the party's opposition to any expansion of the airport and to urge the CAA to move ahead with the approval for the new approach to runway 03 which will deliver noise reductions in surrounding areas including Farnborough, Crofton and Petts Wood.
