Manifesto for May 2026 Election

1. Streets and roads where people feel safe

We will work with residents to deliver safer crossings, tackle speeding hotspots, fix potholes and pavements, press TfL to cut congestion, improve junctions, manage traffic, and keep our air clean.

2. A Council That Works for You

We will demand quality customer service, transparency and accountability, end residents being ignored or passed around, hold the administration to account, and stay accessible through surgeries and
clear communication.

3. Protecting our Heritage and Community

We will protect Bromley's local identity and heritage by stopping the sell-off of our valued community assets, supporting local groups, and standing up for residents by making sure their views shape local
decisions and spending.

4. Accessible Services for Everyone

We will campaign for quicker GP appointments and fair access to NHS dentists, and to remove barriers to local services facing disabled residents, digitally excluded people, families, older residents, and others.

5. Strong Neighbourhood Policing

We will fight for strong neighbourhood policing with visible officers, oppose police front counter closures, and campaign to protect all 24-hour services so people can access policing locally and feel safe.

6. New Homes that respect local character

We will support the right homes in the right places, meeting housing need, respecting local character, revitalising town centres, supporting businesses, and protecting valued green spaces - we will defend our
green belt.
