The form consists of two sections:

- Section 2: Questions about your relevant skills and experiences as well as what you wish to achieve if elected (shared with members during the election process).
The deadline for submitting your application form is midday on Sunday, 8th March 2026. This is the final day of our Spring Conference.
Step 2: Gather support from other party members
Applications for the following roles require the support of thirty party members, which must be spread across at least five local parties:
- Executive Officer for Membership Development.
Applications for the following roles need the support of five party members:
- All Ordinary Members of Welsh Party Committees.
- The Representative from Local Government on the Policy Development Committee (note that all five supporters must be Liberal Democrat councillors elected in Wales).

Applications for other roles do not need support.
Members can show their support for your application in two ways:

- By post using a paper form.
You can ask members you know to support you by email, phone, or social media. But please don’t send bulk messages or use contact details from any party databases.
Also, don’t ask party staff to support your application. Staff must stay neutral and work with whoever is elected.
The deadline for members to register their support is midday on Sunday, 8th March 2026.
