Host a Fringe Meeting

Fringe Meetings are a highly cost-effective way to engage with a diverse range of conference attendees and share your message. Known for their lively debates and engaged audiences, our Fringes are always a highlight of the conference.
 

What to Expect

The topic and format of your Fringe Meeting are entirely up to you—whether you prefer a roundtable discussion, a presentation, or an informal reception.

All Fringe rooms are conveniently located within the conference venue, ensuring easy access for attendees. Each session typically lasts for an hour, with slots available on both Saturday and Sunday.

Let us know your preferred time when enquiring, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. As room availability is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, we’ll also help you avoid clashes with similar events.

Additionally, we can assist in securing a suitable speaker from within the party to help make your event a success.

Fringe Rooms and Sessions

There are three different rooms to choose from at this Conference:

  • A large fringe room capable of holding up to 50 people cabaret style
  • A small fringe room capable of holding up to 25 people theatre style
  • A boardroom capable of holding up to 20 people boardroom style - ideal for intimate round table discussions

Fringes will be held at the following times:

  • Breakfast - on Saturday and Sunday
  • Lunch - on Saturday and Sunday
  • Mid-Afternoon - on Saturday only
  • Early Evening - on Saturday only

Fringe Package

Our Fringe Package includes everything you need to deliver a successful event:

  • AV equipment to support your presentation.
  • Two complimentary Observer Passes for your team, allowing them to attend the conference for the entire weekend.
  • A Fringe listing on the conference section of our website, including your organisation’s logo and a 50-word description.
  • Catering and refreshments available at an additional cost.

Cost for the large fringe room:

  • £550 (Saturday lunchtime) / £450 (other sessions) – Commercial / Government / Public Bodies / Universities
  • £450 (Saturday lunchtime) / £350 (other sessions)  – Professional Associations / Trade Unions / Registered Charities (annual turnover over £250,000)
  • £350 (Saturday lunchtime) / £250 (other sessions)  – Community Groups / Registered Charities (annual turnover under £250,000) / Lib Dem Affiliated Organisations

Cost for the small fringe room and boardroom:

  • £450 (Saturday lunchtime) / £350 (other sessions)  – Commercial / Government / Public Bodies / Universities
  • £350 (Saturday lunchtime) / £250 (other sessions)  – Professional Associations / Trade Unions / Registered Charities (annual turnover over £250,000)
  • £250 (Saturday lunchtime) / £150 (other sessions)  – Community Groups / Registered Charities (annual turnover under £250,000) / Lib Dem Affiliated Organisations
