Felix Dodds looks at the legacy of the Green Guard of Young Liberals 1984-1988

There have been two times where the Young Liberals have played a critical role in the philosophical direction of the party. (This article is copied from our GLD Challenge magazine) The first was of course the Red Guard period from the 1960s to the early 1970s. Gaining the name after sponsoring the anti-NATO resolution at the 1966 party conference.
