Let me say at the outset that this is my personal view (as Keith Melton) although I suspect it may ring a few bells with my GLD colleagues. The 30th Birthday Conference of the Green Liberal Democrats is becoming a must-not-miss event for anyone in the Liberal Democrats who has even a smattering of Green motivation in their political souls. It has the same feel about it as the inaugural conference back in 1988 and the Party now is much bigger in numbers than back in the day. So do not miss taking your place at the conference.
I made my first ever cake in over seventy years to celebrate our 30th Birthday appearance at the Spring Conference in Southport and we had a competition to guess the weight of the cake for a £1 entry fee.
