Stand up for pensioners

After a lifetime paying into the system and helping build the society we’re all so lucky to live in, pensioners deserve security in retirement.

And yet, the Conservative Government has reportedly considered breaking their promises to keep the pensions triple lock and the winter fuel allowance.

Our Conservative MP even voted FIVE TIMES to break the triple lock promise. This creates huge uncertainty for many pensioners already struggling with the cost of living.

I’m not prepared to see local pensioners taken for granted by this Conservative Government and our Conservative MP any longer.

I’m urging the Government to honour the promises it made to pensioners across our town.
