Brexit - Summary of key impacts on environmental law

It is still uncertain what kind of Brexit we will have. Specific areas of UK environmental law will be affected differently depending on the nature of the UK's exit and a complex range of factors (such as the history and origin of the law, how it has been implemented into domestic law, whether it is an area that is directly relevant to access to the single market, wider policy objectives and whether the UK has a history of non-compliance).

Cllr Jack Dart is speaking at GLD Conference 2019

I'm very excited to be representing the young people of the UK at the Green Lib Dem conference. I'm even more excited to be joined by a roster of superb activists and Liberals who are passionate about solving some of the most urgent issues in history. We have but a few years to get our act together, otherwise we'll be condemning future generations to a lifetime of misery and unrest.

James Dart is speaking at GLD Conference 2019

I am a former school teacher who left teaching to focus on understanding Brexit, the sudden ubiquity of fake-news and the rise of the alt-right. Last year, I completed an MA in European Politics at the University of Exeter, whilst also co-founding 'Inspire EU' - a pro-European youth organisation with my brother Cllr. Jack Dart. In May of last year I stood as a City Councillor for the Lib Dems in Exeter, before moving to London to work for 'Scientists 4 EU' Social Media Intelligence Unit.
