Kelvin Cheatle
Kelvin Cheatle is standing to be a councillor for Kew as he is passionate about helping improve the lives of the residents and the community.
Kelvin joined local politics because he believes in moderate centre ground policies and wants to help the Council improve for the benefit of all.
Kelvin spent my career in Local government and the NHS as an HR Director. Kelvin wants to bring that experience in to help Kew.
Kelvin is passionate about music and is a published songwriter and author.
Maureen Goldthorpe
Maureen Goldthorpe has been a Communications Officer and Campaigner for the Liberal Democrats for the past few years. As a lifelong liberal, Maureen cares deeply about education, business, culture, crime prevention and challenging Thames Water's record on effluent waste.
Maureen is a passionate Europhile and always solutions-driven. Maureen wants to help Kew residents every way she can.
Clare Vollum
Clare Vollum joined the Liberal Democrat's because she believes that the UK should be part of the European Union.
Clare has been a councillor for Kew since 2022. Clare proudly serves as the Council's dementia champion, and works within the healthcare industry, having held previous roles in the NHS, RIND and Age UK.
Caring and compassionate, Clare brings empathy to her role as a councillor.
