An event to launch Marc Hadley's new album, How to Cut Water, and to raise funds for the local Lib Dems in preparation for the next General Election.
What piece of music would you take to your desert island?
Submit your choice to Marc by email (marchadley2@gmail.com) and enter yourself for the playlist draw (£5). You will be assigned a raffle ticket number, and those drawn on the day will be played on the PA. Bill Mumford will be the MC, and if you wish you can explain briefly why you have chosen the record. by Saturday 6 June. Music can be nominated as a digital track, or you can bring a CD or vinyl record to be played on the day. All submissions to be sent by 12 Noon on Saturday 6th June.

Join us as we thank everyone for all their help and support during the recent election campaign we will be holding a Thank You Evening on Sunday 7th June at 6 Grand Avenue, N10 3AY.
This will be a chance for volunteers, members, supporters, candidates and councillors to get together for the first time since the election, catch up and unwind.
The event will begin from 7pm, and some food and refreshments will be provided.
"It's not all about Politics!"
We are usually at Table 5, so order and pay at the bar for your drinks and food (if you are eating) and then join us, on the 2nd Monday of each month from 18:30 until 21:00 at The Orchard pub in Archer's Gate, SP4 7XT when some of our councillors - not just the Lib Dems - get together with whoever turns up for informal chat. The conversation is organic and it goes where it flows, but we're just like-minded people getting together over a drink or two.
We also have a fundraising raffle - one prize, so winner takes all!

The Executive Committee plays a vital role in steering the direction, of the local party, ensuring good governance, and supporting campaigning efforts. Members are elected to positions on the Executive Committee every year at the AGM, normally held in November.

LIBG has organised an online forum meeting with James Moran, Mohammed Nosseir and other speakers to be added at 7pm UK time on 8 June, chaired by new LIBG chair Larry Ngan.
James Moran is a diplomat and economist. He served as EU Ambassador to Egypt 2012 to 2016 and has held many other diplomatic postings in the Middle East. Married to a Palestinian, he is also father of Liberal Democrat MP Layla Moran.
Mohammed Nosseir is an Egyptian liberal politician who was a member of the higher committee at the Democratic Front Party from 2007 to 2012, and of the political bureau of the Free Egyptian Party till 2013.
He is also an author, writing articles on marketing strategies and sociopolitical reforms published in a number of global and regional magazines & newspapers such as Gulf Business, Arab Newsand Le Monde Diplomatique,

A regular meet-up on the second Wednesday of every month for Liberal Democrat members, supporters and the Lib Dem curious in the Folkestone and Hythe area!
Simply come along for a social drink and a chat: no speeches, no leaflet delivery. It's a "buy your own" event (sorry!) but come along and say hello to our Councillors, campaigners, members and friends.
The Royal Norfolk Hotel is on Sandgate High Street - there is free parking from 6pm at Castle Road Car Park in Sandgate which is one minute walk away and often on street parking in Castle Road (behind the hotel) as well.
Beveridge Club is back!
The Club is our regular way of ensuring that our members and supporters have opportunities to discuss the issues that really concern them in a relaxed and informal setting.
We are delighted to have secured Daniel Elkeles as our next speaker. Daniel is the former CEO of the Epsom & St Helier NHS Trust. So he knows Sutton's health service and the NHS inside out. He left the Trust to become the CEO of the London Ambulance Service and most recently led NHS Providers.
Known for his challenging views, Daniel has titled his talk Five Big Bets to Fix the NHS. He will be expecting some robust questions from Sutton Lib Dems!
