Campaign update - Post Offices saved!

The Post Office has recently announced they will not reduce the total number of branches in Kensington & Chelsea. Previously, Post Offices at Kensington High Street and Worlds End were at risk of closure, with no promise of a replacement.  

Your Local Liberal Democrats have been fighting hard to save Kensington High Street and Worlds End Post Offices. A huge thank you to all the residents who signed our petition to save them.  

This announcement is an important step forward in our campaign. However, these two branches are still set to be offloaded by the post office and replaced with a franchised service. Under the franchising plan, these branches could be moved to new locations, creating unacceptable disruption for residents and small businesses.  

We’re calling for guarantees that both post offices will remain in their local areas, retaining existing services and opening times, to ensure residents and small businesses can access vital banking and postal services without disruption.
