Our plan for safer streets : Community Police Hubs

Lib dem activists standing outside a police minivan, text says community police hubs for kensington and chelsea

Policing in our area is broken. After several closures, there’s just one police station left in our borough. Our conservative council has consistently failed to make the case for our area and stand up to these cuts.

Meanwhile, Kensington & Chelsea has the third-highest crime rate in London. Thousands of crimes are going unsolved, and trust in the police is waning. In 2023, 83% of Burglaries in our borough went unsolved. That’s over 1000 unsolved crimes.

We’re calling for new community police hubs to be opened as soon as possible to address the lack of police stations, bring officers back into our communities and restore trust in the police.

But we need your support. Please sign our petition below.
