Uber Boat Stop in Wapping

Tower Hamlets Liberal Democrats are campaigning for a new Uber Boat stop in Wapping. We recently held talks directly with Thames Clipper, who run the Uber Boat service, and confirmed that they are keen to bring a stop to our area. There’s a stop to the west at the Tower of London and to the east at Canary Wharf, yet Wapping is completely missed off the network. Adding a stop here would add another useful transport option, especially useful for times when the Overground is experiencing disruption. Our recent local survey showed the idea had the support of St Katharine’s and Wapping residents. We the undersigned call on Tower Hamlets Council to enter into talks with Thames Clipper in order to deliver an Uber Boat stop for Wapping
