Lib Dems are now the official opposition to the KCC Reform administration.
On Canterbury City Council, Lib Dems have recently ended the coalition with the Labour Party enabling our councillors to speak freely, hold the administration to account and provide constructive opposition where necessary.

In the only elections in Kent on 7th May, the Liberal Democrats gained three seats to further strengthen their control of Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. The Lib Dems now hold 25 of 39 Councillors in the borough, and Mike Martin MP was elected in 2024.
