Plant more trees on Leathwaite Road

Pavement improvement works have started on Leathwaite Road. After speaking to the workmen, a number of residents reported to us that there are no plans to plant more trees.

The perfect opportunity to get more trees on Leathwaite

Our roads need more trees to help us cope with heatwaves and improve air quality.

While some roads in the Northcote area have wonderful trees, Leathwaite severely lacks shade.

With the pavements being pulled up, from a practical and financial perspective, there could not be a better time to plant trees along Leathwaite.

It is an opportunity the Council should not miss.
