Josh Hughes, James Jones & James Wilson
Your Lib Dem candidates for Thamesfield
Josh Hughes
Josh was born and spent his early years in Wandsworth before moving to Putney after university. Josh works in sports media, after training as a broadcast journalist. Josh cares deeply about his community and the issues facing it: from the terrible traffic chaos to the rise of vacant shops on Putney High Street. Josh is working tirelessly to find real, tangible solutions to these issues to ensure Putney remains a place we can all be proud of.
James Jones
James was born in nearby Lib Dem stronghold Kingston and spent his early years down the river in Twickenham where most of his family remain. This explains his soft spot for Fulham FC. He went to study at Cardiff University before returning to London and settling in Putney where he now calls home. James has fully immersed himself in the local community and particularly enjoys running down by the river and frequenting one of the many great pubs on offer, particularly the Jolly Gardners. He is passionate about improving our local area and making Wandsworth work for everyone.
James Wilson
James was born and raised in Thamesfield ward, attending All Saints’ School by Putney Common. He returned to Putney after university where he lives with his wife and works for a public relations firm. James remembers what a wonderful place Putney is to be raised as a child, and is committed to addressing the issues he has heard countless times across Putney to make our community more open, vibrant and family-friendly.
