End Sewage Dumping in Wales

Raw sewage is still being dumped into Welsh rivers, lakes and seas. This sewage is killing wildlife and poses a danger to public health.

Despite being non-profit and under strong influence from the Senedd Dwr Cymru continues to let people across Wales down.

Both the Labour in Westminster and the new Plaid Cymru government in Cardiff have the power to stop this atrocious practice, but are continuing to let water companies get away with it.

The Welsh Liberal Democrats want to:

Ban bonuses for water company bosses and redirect funds into improving infrastructure.
Demand the Welsh Government provides Natural Resources Wales with the funding and resources it needs to tackle & monitor pollution effectively.
Install more phosphate removal facilities across our rivers.
Introduce legislation to ban water companies from dumping raw sewage in our waterways.
