Policy Development Committee

This committee develops the policies that set out what we stand for in Wales.

It:

• Creates policies on all issues devolved to the Senedd or controlled by Welsh Ministers.
• Gives policy advice to candidates, elected members, and political appointees.
• Recommends which policy motions should be debated at Conference.
• Reviews reports from the party’s representative to the Federal Policy Committee.
• Helps draft our election manifestos.
• Builds relationships with charities, the third sector, and partner organisations.
• Ensures our policies understand and meet the needs of Wales’s diverse communities.
• Supports any other tasks passed on by Conference or the Constitution.
