Steven Bray is attending GLD Conference 2019
Steven Bray is an ardent Remain activist from Wales, who makes daily protests against Brexit in front of the Houses of Parliament and is often referred to as the 'Mr. Stop Brexit shouty man'.
Steven's protest began as a result of Theresa May triggering Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty in March 2017 thereby formally initiating Britain's withdrawal from the EU.
This as a result of the 2016 advisory referendum on the UK's EU membership. Steven was so incensed by this that he left Port Talbot shortly afterwards to travel to London so he could commence his protest and has not looked back since.
Steven founded a group called SODEM, an acronym for Stand of Defiance European Movement in September 2017, which evolved into a FaceBook Group which has now garnered nearly 8,000 followers
The SODEM team attend political Party conferences and other gatherings in which politicians are in attendance so taking the protest literally to the door of politicians wherever they may meet.
Steven's strategy over the past 2 years has been successful as he fills news channels with his Remain banners as he manoeuvres to stand behind those being interviewed and can be heard protesting from afar. Steven makes news headlines globally and is often courted by Remain politicians including Liberal Democrat MPs, Councillors and Peers.
