Jane Brophy, who's worked in the Green Lib Dems since our formation, will represent us in the Jane Brophy LibDem candidate in Oldham West and Royton bye-election on Thursday 3rd December 2015

There is a fantastic buzz at the office and an amazing energy in the Party for the Lib Dem Fightback!

  The Liberal Democrats have relentlessly pushed the green agenda over the last five years in government, in the face of strong resistance from the Conservatives. Yet despite much needed progress, people still suffer from homes that are too cold and bills that are too high.   A Tory programme for government would have looked extremely different. I believe the Lib Dem's progressive agenda will be viewed positively by the public over time. The Lib Dems, and those who voted for us locally and nationally, have much to be proud of. Only last week the Lib Dem Energy Secretary announced historic CO2 reduction targets to combat climate change that the Tories initially opposed.
