Government Fail To Act On Climate Change Again - Stunell

30 Mar 2005

Commenting on the Government's decision to delay announcing how it will implement energy ratings for buildings, Liberal Democrat Shadow Energy Minister, Andrew Stunell MP said:

"This delay exposes the lack of substance to the Government's commitments on reducing CO2 emissions and halting climate change. Since 1997 we have seen no improvement whatsoever in carbon dioxide emissions.

"The Government pay lip-service to climate change, yet time and time again, fails to follow through with real action."
