Andrew Stunell has topped the Private Members Bill ballot

The Green Liberal Democrats are urging people to sign their petition urging Andrew Stunell to introduce the Corporate Responsibility Bill into the House of Commons.

Andrew Stunell topped the Private Members Ballot last week, meaning that he has a real chance of introducing a Bill that could become law within the year. A coalition of organisations including Friends of the Earth, Christian Aid and the New Economics Foundation are backing the Corporate Responsibility Bill which aims to force large corporations to formally report on their social and environmental record.
