Onyx Rist is standing as the Medway Liberal Democrat candidate for Gillingham South.
Onyx grew up and has lived in Gillingham. Onyx continues to visit frequently and has connections in the area. Onyx wants to bring pride and wealth back to the town.
Onyx is campaigning for improvements to Gillingham High Street, which has been sorely neglected under both Tory and Labour administrations in Medway.
While talking to residents, Onyx is hearing that residents have missed having Liberal Democrats as their ward councillor. Gillingham South has been represented only by Liberal Democrats and Labour since 1996. The only way to beat Labour here is to vote for Onyx on February 6th.
