Greenwich Borough Liberal Democrats Annual General Meeting

2025

I’m delighted to announce that on Tuesday 18th November 8pm, Greenwich Liberal Democrats will be hosting our Annual General Meeting at Mycenae House in the main hall. You can find the agenda for the meeting on our website here

The purpose of the AGM is to receive reports on the party’s activities during the year and elect a new Executive Committee. We will also be having a talk from a Member of the House of Lords to give members an insight into Liberal Democrat policy. There will be an opportunity to socialise at the end of the meeting with free non-alcoholic refreshments.

Executive Committee roles.

The Executive Committee is made up of volunteers who contribute their free time to keep the local party active. You don’t need to have been involved in politics before to get involved or stand for election.

You can see all of the roles that are open for nomination here. To put yourself forward for one of these positions, complete the nomination form and return to  info@greenwich-libdems.org.uk or bring it to the AGM and hand it in before the start of the meeting. We are especially keen to hear from anyone who might be interested in helping with fundraising or data management.

If you would like to be more involved with the party but would like to learn more first, becoming an ordinary member of the committee is an excellent place to start. You may find you can take on more at a later stage. If you have any questions about any of the roles and/or are considering standing please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@greenwich-libdems.org.uk

Please sign up to Eventcube if you will be attending so that we have numbers.
