   Southwark Liberal Democrats have fought to freeze our council tax by putting forward an alternative budget to tackle Labour wasteful spending and the generous allowances they pay to Labour Council bosses.
    
2. Demand More Action To Tackle Anti-Social Behaviour And Crime
   Vikas lives by the Brandon Estate. He is a magistrate in South London and works with various youth groups in our community. He can be trusted to work with local community groups and the local police to keep us safe. Vikas will push for an increase in community policing for our area.
    
3. Standing Up To The Council In The Southwark Housing Repairs Crisis
   Across Southwark, Liberal Democrat councillors have resolved housing repairs through dedicated action days with the council’s housing repairs team. Vikas will work with our current councillors to demand better housing for Newington.
