Alex Davies
Your Lib Dem candidate for Streatham Hill East
Alex Davies has lived in Streatham for more than 40 years, and has previously served as a councillor for part of Streatham Hill East.
He led campaigns to save Streatham and Tulse Hill’s cross-river Thameslink service, to stop the closure of Streatham Library and to secure renovation of the High Road with new paving and street trees.
In his professional life, Alex was chief of staff to Lib Dem leader Sir Vince Cable, driving the campaign to stop Brexit from 2017-19. He has since worked as an adviser to campaigners on air quality and plastic reduction, as well as the Women Against State Pension Inequality (WASPI).
Alex will use his lifelong campaigning experience to make sure Streatham Hill East has a strong voice at the Town Hall.
