Cole-Hamilton responds to BMA survey on junior doctors

“Demoralised, undervalued, exhausted. That’s how junior doctors all across Scotland are feeling thanks to Humza Yousaf’s failed NHS Recovery plan.

“If the SNP and Greens continue to ignore Scottish Liberal Democrat plans for a Burnout Prevention Plan and a Health and Social Care Staff Assembly, they will simply aggravate the immense pressure and pain facing staff and patients.

“Whether he is First Minister or Health Secretary, it's time for Humza Yousaf to go back to the drawing board and come up with a proper workforce strategy that will boost recruitment, retainment and safe staffing."
