I feel very privileged to now be the elected MP for Inverness, Skye, West Ross-shire and North Lochaber. Thank you.
As I said throughout my campaign, the Highlands has been left behind for too long. I hope to play an important part in reversing this trend, and will fight ceaselessly for the people here, working positively with UK Govt Ministers to get powers and funding into the Highlands.
To all those within my constituency, whether you voted for me or not, I pledge to work tirelessly to improve things for all of us here.
