Local Pharmacist stands up for Strood Rural residents

Local Pharmacist and business manager Vanessa Roach is standing up for local residents in this year's elections.

The twice "Pride of Medway" nominee was raised on the Isle of Grain, Vanessa studied Pharmacy at Cardiff University before returning to the area in 1990.

"I have always been involved with helping the community in my work life, but now I want to start helping outside as well." she said.

The Lib Dems have always been a local voice for local people and have a record of working for residents all year round, not just at election time.

Vanessa Roach

Local Pharmacist and mother of two, Vanessa has a long record of helping people in the community.

Since starting work as a pharmacist in Strood in 1990, she has helped thousands of people with both their health and social problems. She first became active politically in 2012 when she started campaigning for better health services for local residents, and presented a petition with thousands of signatures.

Her hard work and dedication has been recognised, with residents nominating her twice for the "Pride of Medway" award. Vanessa is also a member of Frindsbury and Wainscot Community Association.

The Lib Dems have always been a local voice for local people and have a record of working for residents all year round, not just at election time.
