Former Liberal Parliamentary Candidate passes away at 93

It is with sadness that Medway Liberal Democrats announce that long time member Peter Loftus has passed away at the age of 93.
Peter joined the Liberal Party in the 1950s and was the candidate for the Liberal Party in Dartford in the General Election of 1966. He was also a Council candidate many times right up to 2019.
He was a teacher at Upbury Manor in Gillingham. After the war he was an administrator in the British zone in Germany.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
