Congratulations to Cllr Charlie Clinton!

Congratulations to Charlie Clinton, the former Parliamentary Candidate for Holborn & St Pancras, who was elected as a Liberal Democrat Councillor for Alperton, in the neighbouring borough of Brent, this week, receiving a stunning 48.5% of the votes cast.

And thanks to Anton Georgiou, the previous Lib Dem councillor, who sadly had to step down for personal reasons. Anton has clearly left a legacy of support and we wish him all the best for the future.

Charlie will be joining Cllrs Paul Lorber and Hannah Matin on Brent Council, and has already pledged to fight hard for what residents need.

The election saw Labour’s vote fall by 18% from the elections in May 2022, a fall mirrored in other London by-elections this week, which bods very well for the local elections in May next year.
