Tara Copeland

Tara is standing to be one of your Liberal Democrat councillors for South Hampstead because she wants to be a voice for residents at Camden Town Hall. Tara brings experience developing policy on breaking the cycle of crime and reducing reoffending, and of campaigning for a better deal for young carers. Her belief in the importance of a strong sense of community and that we have a duty to help each other underpins all the work that she does. 

For South Hampstead, Tara wants to do more to tackle anti-social behaviour, push for step-free access to our local tube stations, and clean up our local environment. Already as a team, the South Hampstead Lib Dems have been reporting fly-tipping, clearing leaves from local streets to reduce flood risk, and campaigning to fix the Finchley Road. Tara is determined to do more to support the community as one of your local councillors.
