Cllr Matthew Kirk

Matthew was elected as a councillor Belsize in May 2022 and was the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Holborn & St Pancras in the 2019 General Election. He is a criminal barrister by profession. 

In his role as a Councillor, Matthew has been holding the Council to account on its climate action commitments, an area he is passionate about, as well as working to ensure the council follows through on its commitment to re-thinking “floating” bus stops, which are a danger to elderly people, and those in the borough with mobility issues.
