Aimery de Malet Roquefort
Aimery is standing because it is his firm belief that Hampstead needs councillors who listen and deliver practical, resident-led solutions. A long-standing Hampstead resident that has lived in Camden for over 20 years, Aimery has already taken part in several local campaigns, including being a part of the successful campaign to save the Cleveland Street Workhouse in Fitzrovia, which inspired Dickens' writing, securing listed status for its Georgian-era buildings and keeping them from being torn down.
Professionally, Aimery brings experience in management consulting, academic policy work, and technical problem-solving; skills that help cut through bureaucracy and get things working. He’s passionate about improving the local environment and has also campaigned to reduce traffic congestion in Hampstead Village, already applying those skills as a local activist, and when he’s not campaigning, enjoys walks on the Heath with his two beautiful dogs (Freya & Loki [link to pic]?) and running with the Mornington Chasers.
