Your team for Lower Morden:
Guy Mercer
Guy is an energetic 31 year-old with a passion for working with young people. He recently completed a Master's in Social Work and is currently working in Special Educational Needs. In his own time Guy enjoys playing and following football, spending time with friends and family and enjoying good food.
Guy is concerned about the extent of crime and anti-social behaviour in Lower Morden and this is something he would work to reduce through real community policing. Ensuring Morden Park is safe and free of crime and anti-social behaviour is key for the local community. High-quality roads which are well-maintained and free of potholes are equally important, as is preventing fly-tipping.
He believe that the regeneration of Morden Town Centre would benefit all of the surrounding communities including Lower Morden. I feel strongly that by regenerating the town centre we can reinforce this area as a bedrock of Merton's community. Local residents deserve a town centre they can take pride in.
Vincent Bolt
Vincent lives with his family in Lower Morden. He is a focused on issues such as local crime and anti-social behaviour. He wants to see more community policing in our area and is frustrated that Labour has closed our police station front counters.
Georgina Dilali
Georgina is a young person living in Lower Morden who is navigating the world of work having completed her education recently. She is concerned about the lack of housing opportunities for young people and is desperately disappointed in the Labour Council's failure to deliver on their promise of building council homes.
