Join the team at the National Liberal Club for a Summer Gala Fundraising Event on 2 July 2025. This promises to be a fantastic evening full of entertainment, so don't miss out!
We have organised something very special for our next social event on the 2nd of July.
When speaking to members and voters across Wandsworth, it’s clear that the suffering and courage of the Ukrainian people has moved many deeply. Their fight is not just for their homeland – it’s for the survival of democracy in Europe.
We see headlines every day. But beyond the headlines lies a vital question: how do we help Ukraine secure not just peace, but a just peace – one that doesn’t reward aggression or sacrifice freedom?
To help answer that, we’ve assembled an exceptional panel of voices:
Our panel will be chaired by Wandsworth Lead Campaigner, Josh Hughes. Together, Josh, Irina, Mike, and Rosemary will explore:
Don’t expect a dry policy debate – we’ve planned a warm, energising evening full of heart, inspiration, and a few unexpected touches to keep things fun.
Ukraine in Focus: A conversation on War, Peace, and the Future
A panel discussion with Dr Mike Martin MP, Rosemary Thomas OBE, and Irina Rapiyi
Tickets include:
Come for a great evening to show support for the people of Ukraine and see how we can work together to make a difference to their future.
Tickets for this event are likely to sell fast. Book yours today to avoid disappointment.
This month we have two interesting themes:
1. Guest speaker Harvey Jones, chair of the Young Liberals will speak to us about the organisations, and how we can continue to attract young people to local politics.
2. We will be sharing what we are looking for in our candidates for the shadow unitary elections, due to take place in May 2026. If you are considering becoming a candidate, this will give you lots of pointers, and provide a springboard for your own preparations ahead of the approval process.
We hope to see you there, and reassure those of you who were less than comfortable last time, more seating has been requested!
Join us for our regular Pint and Politics evening. Come along and discuss the latest events in Salisbury, Wiltshire and the wider political world.
This is a great way to meet your local Lib Dem team and get involved with what's happening in Salisbury. New faces are always warmly welcomed.
We'll be delighted to see you there!
Join us at the Huntsman in the centre of Bath, for a chance to catch up on all things politics, whether local, national or international with local members and representatives. The venue is fully accessible with a disabled loo available on the ground floor.
We’d like to warmly invite you to a Summer Garden Party and BBQ to say thank you for your support during the recent Harrogate Town Council elections. With your help, we were able to elect 15 Liberal Democrat councillors to the new council — a great result we couldn’t have achieved without the efforts of so many people.
We hope you can join us for a relaxed evening to catch up, enjoy some food, and celebrate what we’ve achieved together.
If you’re vegetarian, vegan, or have any other dietary requirements, please do let us know in advance so we can cater accordingly.
Due to limited parking, you might want to consider travelling by train, as the Marshalls’ house is just a short 10-minute walk from Hornbeam Park station.
A fun, casual celebration for all those supporters, activists and friends who’d like to mark the great day, exactly one year ago, when Helen overturned 200 years of Tory, male supremacy. Come and enjoy some great Italian-themed food and indulge in many fantastic, joyous memories.
If you'd like to eat, you'll pay for your food (wide selection of hot mains £10 - £14, jackets etc. £7.50 - £8.50) and drinks on the night, but so that we can give our lovely hosts, Indrit and Monika, an idea of how many people they're catering for.
One year after his election, Adam Dance MP has invited Lady Ashdown to formally open his new office in the centre of Yeovil.
Adam would welcome all who contributed to his success in the election - by delivering leaflets, helping in the office addressing envelopes and sorting out leaflet bundles, canvassing across the Constituency and providing money to support the campaign - at the opening of the new Constituency and MP's Office in Princes Street.
As Adam has said repeatedly his success is the success of us all. Only by working together were we able to return the Yeovil Constituency to the Liberal Democrats.
All Liberal Democrat members and supporters are invited to join us from 10.30 on Saturday 5 July.
Please register your attendance by reserving a ticket, at no charge.
Come and join us for tea and cake in Danny and Rosie's beautiful garden in Wiveliscombe, where we will be celebrating the anniversary of the amazing 2024 election results.

Come and join us at our summer party to celebrate the anniversary of electing Wokingham's first ever Liberal Democrat MP and our fourth year of leading Wokingham Borough Council.

Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall (CV37 6EJ) on
Thursday July 10th, 7:30am to 9:30am
Over the past few years, businesses of all sizes have faced
a series of tough challenges, from the economic uncertainty of Brexit and the
COVID-19 pandemic, to inflation, rising energy costs, and now the pressures of
the rise in employers’ national insurance contributions. I know how hard many
of you have worked to keep your businesses running and your teams supported
through it all.
This forum is an opportunity for members of the local
business community to come together to discuss these issues, share experiences,
and look ahead. I’ll be joined by a panel of local experts from the world of
business and local government, who will help lead the conversation and respond
to your questions and ideas.
This is a free event, and coffee, croissants
& pastries will be provided.

London's Motivate Day is run for us by ALDC and is designed to help teams develop and win new wards. It builds on ALDC's book 'Pick a ward and win it'.
Early campaigning is a proven tool in winning and this day will encourage your team to start early, maximising your chance to win in 2026.
It is ideal for smaller local parties and for those with less experience in campaigning, but will also benefit those wish to develop their techniques and to improve their campaigning.
Motivate Days sit alongside the Kickstart weekends, which allow greater in depth training and mentoring. Attending a Motivate day is a good introduction for those going onto a Kickstart weekend. Kicksteart weekends are in June and November

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a concept reserved for science fiction or tech giants—it's a reality that is reshaping the business landscape at an unprecedented pace. Whether viewed as a catalyst for innovation or a source of uncertainty, one thing is undeniable: AI is here to stay, and it is impacting industries across the board.
Woking Lib Dem member, Stephen Wilder, will peel back the layers of AI without the technical jargon. Stephen is a seasoned IT consultant who has worked with clients such as Microsoft, NATO, Harrods, Bentley
Motors, the MCC and the United Nations, will demystify AI, offering clear insights and lots of hands-on examples of what AI truly is, what it can achieve, and importantly, what it cannot.
