MP Charlotte Cane will give the after dinner speech
Open to members, supporters and freinds
Join at the Albany Hotel for a Cardiff Lib Dem skittles party. Whether you are an experienced player or someone who has never played before, please sign up for this fun packed evening.
We were all excited to get our two Liberal Democrat
candidates elected as Members of Parliament last year. Helen Maguire and Chris
Coghlan have had a whirlwind introduction to life at Westminster, and to the
responsibilities of a constituency MP.
But what are they doing for us, now, at local and
national level?
Getting elected was almost the easiest part - even now,
work must be done to ensure they remain at the next election, so what can we do
for them?
This is a chance for those who support Helen and Chris to
hear what their hard work has enabled and to be inspired to help them keep on
working for us into the future.
The main event will be a hosted informal discussion with
them, covering such topics as their initial experiences, insights, personal
crusades and the challenges they face.
The evening begins at 7:30 in the clubroom of the Green
Room Theatre, where we will serve drinks and our delicious canapés (first drink
free). We will then move into the auditorium for the discussion.
This year there will - controversially - be no local
elections (except one District by-election on that very day) but Stephen
Cooksey will follow with a brief update on the successes and challenges at Mole
Valley District Council.
So come and join us to inspired, informed and
entertained! Tickets in advance cost just £11 (including booking fee) and you
can even buy your raffle tickets when you book.
Come and join us for a Lib Dem curry night in the Castle Tandoori in Chirk.

As well as understanding the specifics, this is an excellent opportunity to find out more about how local government raises and spends money, and to get answers to specific questions you may have.
