
Croydon Lib Dems hail “shockwave” by-election triumph
The Party saw a 25 per cent swing in their vote share and have elected their 12th MP, Sarah Green, to Parliament with an overwhelming 8,000 majority.
Gill Hickson was born in Croydon and has lived in Coulsdon for over 30 years.
Gill worked in finance and now spends much of her time volunteering in the community. She is Vice-Chair of East Coulsdon Residents' Association and trustee of Coulsdon Community Partnership, a registered charity that works to support local businesses and hosts community events. She is an active committee member and volunteer at The Hive Community Garden and supports Coulsdon in Bloom initiatives. Gill is also involved in her Neighbourhood Watch and hosts a food donation bin for Purley Food hub.
As a mother and grandmother Gill is passionate about making our community best for all age groups.
