The LibDem campaign in Northcote is going from strength to strength. 

On the doorstep, so many people are telling us how disillusioned they are with the two main parties.  

We are working hard to demonstrate that we are different and persuade them to support us next May!

Join us for a fun day of canvassing, leafletting, and engaging with residents in one of London's loveliest neighbourhoods!

You don't need to be experienced to make a difference. Just come along! We will train you and pair you up with an experienced buddy.

We will meet at 10 for a briefing at The Eagle, then split into groups to canvass and leaflet.

We'll break for lunch at 1 pm. 

The afternoon session will begin at 2 pm. It will be a couple of hours of action, followed by drinks and socialising back at The Eagle, Northcote's classic local.

If you cannot make the whole day, there are half-day tickets available too.

Highgate Action Day

Ealing Broadway Action Day with London Young Liberals

Join the Ealing Liberal Democrats and London Young Liberals for our next Action Day in Ealing Broadway on Saturday, 21 February 2026. Following our successful Walpole Action Day in November 2025, we'll be supporting Young Liberal candidate Adam Keenan.

Hina Bokhari AM will be joining us as our special VIP guest for the day. 

At 10:30, we will have a big group photo at Ealing Town Hall (opposite the road from Cafe Zee) before we set off.

We will stop for lunch at 1pm at Cafe Zee, and the Ealing Lib Dems will provide lunch for all Young Liberals attending.

There is a social at the end of the day from 4pm (pub location TBC) and the Ealing Lib Dems will provide 1 free drink (non-alcoholic for under 18s) at the pub.

Education not indoctrination: Reassessing the role of religion in our schools

Join our online panel to consider the impact that the recent publication of the Government’s Curriculum and Assessment Review and the ground-breaking Supreme Court ruling in Northern Ireland could have on the role of religion in the UK education system. Our guests will explore the implications for RE content, inclusive assemblies and the place for humanism and non-religious world views. We’ll discuss the practical implications for schools, teacher training, legal precedents, and what reform could mean for social cohesion, understanding, and inclusive education.

Panellists

Caroline Voaden is Member of Parliament for South Devon and Schools Spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats. She is the former CEO of Devon Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse services and served as a member of the European Parliament from 2019 to 2020, during which she was the last leader of the Liberal Democrat party in Europe. Prior to this, Caroline worked as a journalist for Reuters, before becoming a freelance editor and a business-owner in Totnes.
 
Lewis Young is Humanists UK's Education Campaigns Manager, and has been in the role since January 2024. His work covers Humanists UK's campaign work on faith in education - whether state-funded, private, or illegal schools, collective worship, RE. Prior to taking on this role Lewis was Communications and Campaigns Manager for a Member of Parliament. He is also a local councillor in Middlesbrough.

Callum Robertson is a teacher, lecturer and policy expert who works with key stakeholders, including the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT), Harris Federation, Future Academies and the Education Policy Institute. He is also the author of a book (Education Policy: a commentary on contemporary education issues) and has two more books in the pipeline. His latest work is focused on curriculum design within PHSE where he leads the training for the NIoT and Future Teacher Training.
