Shooters Hill By-election Update

We congratulate Tamasin Rhymes on her election to Greenwich Council and wish her well in serving the people of Shooters Hill ward. 

Labour has held this seat for too long with very little to show for it. This result is a clear signal that local people have had enough of being taken for granted.

Our candidate, Kirstie Shedden, ran a strong and community-focused campaign. While we didn’t win this time, we are encouraged by the appetite for change on the doorstep.

The Liberal Democrats will continue to provide a serious and credible alternative for local residents. We will keep holding the Labour council and local councillors to account, standing up for transparency, and championing the interests of communities too often overlooked.
