Pizza & Politics with Mike Brewer

Well a Liberal Democrat politics evening! Our recent “Pizza and Politics” event delivered exactly that, featuring the brilliant Mike Brewer, Chief Economist at the Resolution Foundation.

The evening highlights:

• Mike delivered a fascinating story of wealth and intergenerational inequality, unpacking over 50 years of complex economic forces that shape our society

• Attendees from across London boroughs brought diverse perspectives, creating a fantastic atmosphere of intellectual curiosity  

• The question and answer session sparked both technical and ideological questions that could have continued well into the night

• Fresh thinking on how wealth distribution impacts different generations left everyone with plenty to ponder how we can make changes at our local level to help ensure everyone in our community has the ability to thrive.
