Shepway Council has rejected a planning application to remove trees and bushes from a site between Valebrook Close and Horn Street. The rejection on Wednesday has been welcomed by Valebrook Close residents who had objected to the proposals, and many of whom where at the meeting.
The final three candidates for the next Conservative PPC for Folkestone and Hythe are reported to be Harriett Baldwin (stood and lost in Stockton North in North East England in 2005), Laura Sandys (Political Consultant) and Damian Collins (stood and lost in Northampton North in the East Midlands in 2005).
