Kent Fire and Rescue Service has been called to a major road traffic collision involving around 30 vehicles on the A20 near Folkestone. Crews from Folkestone, Dover and Ashford were called to the coastbound carriageway near the Roundhill Tunnels at 1.18pm on Tuesday 3rd June, and are currently using hydraulic rescue equipment to free a man and a woman.

Southeastern have announced that parking charges are to be introduced at Folkestone West train station.
