About Folkestone and Hythe Constituency
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.

Peter has most certainly been keeping up the pressure in his campaign for a fair deal for all Gurkhas in the UK, but unfortunately, current Folkestone & Hythe MP Michael Howard has not stepped down in Peter's favour - unless the BBC know something we don't...

Hythe Pool Repair Closure
Hythe Pool is closed on Friday 4 April for roof repairs following recent storm damage. Anyone planning to use the pool on Saturday 5 April, either for a pre-booked session or for a casual swim, is asked to call first on 01303 269177 to check that work is complete and the pool is open.
