About Folkestone and Hythe Constituency
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.
Fuller welcomes Drop Curb near Bus Station
Folkestone Lib Dem campaigner Gary Fuller has welcomed the installation of a drop curb at the junction of Middleburg Square and Bouverie Place, where many people cross from the Bus Station into Bouverie Road West.

BREAKING NEWS: Drafted ex-Gurkhas withdraw from Dover in support of Port workers
Six ex-Gurkha soldiers being trained by Dover Harbour Board to moor ships in case of an industrial dispute at the port have withdrawn from the port following a personal intervention from Lib Dem ex-Gurkha Councillor Dhan Gurung.
