About Folkestone and Hythe Constituency
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.
Folkestone Mains Pipe Upgrading: Guildhall Street North, Copthall Gardens, Lucy Avenue and Linden Crescent
Veolia Water Southeast have notified of three schemes for the upgrading of mains pipes are scheduled for the coming months and each should take about 4 - 6 weeks to complete. They are:

It's strange to find that people are so pleased to meet the Mayor, and yet it is me who is honoured to meet them. Today, this is exactly the case when I was privileged to meet the Chelsea Pensioners who were visiting Cheriton Bowls Club for a small tournament.
