About Folkestone and Hythe Constituency
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.
Yes to Fairer Votes website launched [Updated]
The fifth of November is exactly six months before the referendum on Fairer Votes. The campaign "Yes to Fairer Votes" has launched their website at www.yestofairervotes.org asking people to sign up and support the campaign.

There are "all-out" elections to Shepway District Council and all Town and Parish Councils in the Shepway area in May 2011. "All-out" means that all of the Council seats on those Councils will be up for election at the same time. Have you ever considered being a Councillor?
