Thames Water riding roughshod over residents

Responding to the news that Thames water will pump treated wastewater into the River Thames in South-West London, Liberal Democrat Richmond Park MP Sarah Olney said:
"The water companies are once again riding roughshod over residents and pumping filth into our rivers.
"The government has completely failed to regulate these companies properly and have subjected our environment to relentless pollution.
"Therese Coffey must listen to the thousands of residents who have resoundingly stated their objections to these proposals and ensure they do not go ahead."
